My methodology is a ramble influenced by fragmentary, unfinished processes found in language, and the traces of ordinary materials. The content of the work drives its medium in allusive and intuitive ways, taking the form of drawings, installations, or video performances. 

 

Two key concepts frame my practice: Immediacy and distance. Physical proximity to materials and sources reflects an analysis of the cultural context in which the work is situated. The resulting works are mundane objects conveyed with a strong sense of displacement.
