My methodology is a ramble. I am enticed by fragments and unfinished processes found in language, traces from stories, ordinary materials, and found objects. My work takes on various forms such as drawings, installations, and video performances. In them, the content drives the medium in ways that are intuitive, welcoming senses of recklessness, chance, and digression.
I pursue a sense of freedom from categories through an allusive, poetic approach, avoiding the restrictions of militantly polarized declarations. Two key concepts frame what I do. Immediacy conceived as instinctive and bodily proximity to materials and sources. Distance, expressed in a reflective analysis of the context, and cultural references in which the work is situated. Veiled meanings layers in my work are meant to engage the instincts of the audiences.
