Ernesto Rivera
Ernesto Rivera (born Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a BFA in Fine Art from Parsons: The New School. He attended the MFA in Theory and History of Design from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City (2015) where he conducted research on the editorial processes of design criticism. Ernesto had a working experience under the Registrar at the Patricia Phelps Cisneros Collection, and later as the Collection Management Assistant at the Institute for Studies on Latin American Art. He is a frequent contributor to cultural publications in the Dominican Republic, and is the co-founder and social media coordinator for LA PRECARIA (@la.precaria).
